Our Studio - Architects and Interior Designers Based in Melbourne

Established in 2011 and led by Robert Davidov, Davidov Architects is an award-winning architecture and interiors practice based in Melbourne. The studio has developed a reputation for built outcomes that are understated in character, utilising a limited material palette and refined detailing

The practice works predominantly on residential projects, ranging from alterations and additions and renovations to new houses and multi-residential developments, in both Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Our studio brings together some of the best architects and interior designers in Melbourne to develop our initial ideas and concepts into highly refined architectural outcomes.

We are proud to have been recently selected as finalists for the 2023 Design Anthology Awards and winners of the MPavilion 10 Chair Commission 2023.

Our Approach

A background in architecture, construction and urban and cultural heritage also helps to inform the studio’s design approach to the built environment and is paired with an appreciation for sustainable construction practices and passive design knowledge.

Our material selections prioritise quality and durability, resulting in projects that are sustainable due to their permanence and future adaptability. In all of our projects we utilise passive design practices which increase operational energy efficiency.
